Medhavo

No refund policy

Please read this alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. About this Policy

1.1 This No Refund Policy applies to every payment made to Bhagwati Pitambara Trust ("Medhavo", "we", "us") through https://medhavo.com, https://app.medhavo.com, our mobile applications, payment links, UPI, bank transfer or any other channel.

1.2 It forms part of the Medhavo Terms and Conditions at https://medhavo.com/terms. Words such as "Programme", "Fees", "Learner", "Parent" and "Platform" have the meanings given in those Terms.

1.3 By making any payment, or by ticking the acceptance box shown before enrolment, renewal or an order, you (and, for a Learner under 18, the Parent or Guardian who pays) confirm that you have read and accepted this Policy. Medhavo keeps a record of that acceptance as described in clause 1.4A of the Terms.

2. All Fees are final

2.1 All Fees paid for any Programme, batch, course, test series, mentoring, answer evaluation, mock interview, public speaking or personality development session, study material, or any other service are final and non-refundable. The only exceptions are those listed in section 4.

2.2 Medhavo offers a free demo class before enrolment, with no payment required, so that Learners and Parents can assess the teaching, the Educator, the Platform and the schedule. Please attend the demo and review the Programme details, timings and Fees carefully before paying.

2.3 Enrolment is confirmed only on receipt of payment. By paying, you confirm that you made an informed decision to enrol.

3. Situations in which no refund is given

No refund, credit, adjustment or compensation is payable in any of the following situations, or for any similar reason:

  1. change of mind, personal or family reasons, relocation, illness, or a change in school, college or job;
  2. partial use, non-use, non-attendance, joining late, missed classes, or not accessing recordings or material;
  3. dissatisfaction with the teaching style, pace, Content, batch, Educator or other Learners;
  4. a change of Educator, batch, timing, schedule, class frequency, syllabus coverage or mode of delivery;
  5. postponement, cancellation or change in pattern or syllabus of any examination, or a change in the Learner's exam plans;
  6. the Learner's marks, rank, result, selection or interview outcome;
  7. internet, device, power, software or connectivity problems on the User's side;
  8. suspension or termination of access for breach of the Terms, including piracy, account sharing, misconduct, abuse or non-payment;
  9. the unused portion of any subscription, package, combo or bundle, or any free, bonus or discounted component;
  10. any instalment already paid under an instalment plan;
  11. any Programme purchased during a sale, offer, scholarship or with a coupon;
  12. any Wallet Credit, referral reward or other promotional benefit, which has no cash value and is never refundable or payable in cash;
  13. any renewal fee once the renewed term has started.

4. The only exceptions

4.1 Medhavo will refund money only in the following cases:

  1. Duplicate or excess payment: the same Fee was charged more than once for the same enrolment, or you were charged more than the amount due. The duplicate or excess amount will be refunded.
  2. Failed enrolment: money was debited but the transaction failed, enrolment was not confirmed, and the amount was not automatically reversed by your bank or the payment gateway.
  3. Cancellation by Medhavo: Medhavo cancels a Programme before it starts, or discontinues it before completion for reasons other than your breach or a force majeure event, and does not offer you a transfer to a comparable Programme. The refund is limited to the Fees for sessions not delivered, less the value of material, recordings or services already provided.
  4. Legal requirement: a refund is required by applicable law or ordered by a competent court, commission or authority.

4.2 No other circumstance qualifies for a refund.

4.3 Where a payment was made partly with Wallet Credit, any refund under section 4.1 covers only the part paid in money. The Wallet Credit part is returned to the wallet, subject to clause 7.9 of the Terms.

4.4 Medhavo may, purely as a goodwill gesture and at its sole discretion, consider a request in genuinely exceptional circumstances (for example, serious illness supported by documents). Doing so in one case creates no right or precedent for any other case.

5. How to request a refund under section 4

5.1 Send your request to the Grievance Officer at support@medhavo.com within seven (7) days of the payment or event, with:

  • the Learner's name and registered mobile number;
  • the transaction ID, date and amount;
  • a short description of the issue and supporting screenshots, if any.

5.2 Medhavo will verify the request against its payment and enrolment records, which are conclusive unless shown to be manifestly erroneous. Medhavo's decision on eligibility is final, subject to your rights under applicable law.

5.3 Approved refunds are paid only to the original payment method, within fifteen (15) working days of approval. Medhavo is not responsible for further delays by banks, card networks, payment gateways or UPI apps. No interest is payable on any refund.

6. Instalments and financing

6.1 Where Fees are payable in instalments, each instalment falls due on its due date whether or not the Learner attends. If an instalment is unpaid, Medhavo may suspend access until payment is made, without any extension of the Programme. Instalments already paid are not refundable.

6.2 Where Fees are paid through a third-party loan, EMI or financing arrangement, your obligations to the lender continue independently of your use of the Programme. Medhavo is not a party to that arrangement and does not refund amounts paid to or through the lender.

7. Transfers and batch changes

7.1 Enrolment is personal to the Learner and cannot be transferred, sold or gifted to another person.

7.2 A move to another batch or Programme is at Medhavo's sole discretion and subject to seat availability. It may attract a transfer fee, and any difference in Fees is payable by you. No refund is payable where the new Programme costs less.

8. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you have a payment concern, contact the Grievance Officer first. Initiating a chargeback, payment reversal or UPI dispute without doing so is a breach of the Terms. Medhavo may contest the dispute, suspend access immediately, and recover the disputed amount together with all charges and costs of recovery.

9. Free resources and demo classes

Free resources and demo classes involve no payment and are therefore outside the scope of refunds. Medhavo may change or withdraw them at any time.

10. Changes to this Policy

Medhavo may update this Policy at any time by publishing the revised version on this page. The version in force on the date of your payment applies to that payment.

11. Statutory rights

This Policy applies to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in it excludes any right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Contact

For any question about this Policy, contact the Grievance Officer at support@medhavo.com or write to Bhagwati Pitambara Trust, Sector 74 - Noida.
